Time over Money
As Owner, always analyse how you spend the Day. If you did something which was useful only for that moment, you wasted your time. If you did something which will be useful for years to come, you spent time fruitfully. Read further to know what it means.
Examples of wasteful activities: Firefighting activities, routine work like Accounting, billing for firm, calling clients for outstanding, taking status of team. All this work can be delegated or can be taken care by systems.
Examples of Real useful Activities: Studying, Reading, writing, blogging, creating systems, strategizing, getting new clients, giving lectures. These things can't be delegated to a great extent. They need skills which only you have.
Don't be busy. Keep calendar free. So that you have time to think. Busy people are only being busy but rarely add real value. Be free for new things which come up unexpectedly but are really worth it.
Avoid meetings for things which can be handled on phone and avoid phones for things which can be done on emails or whatsapp. Don't attend meetings without predefined agenda.
Value time more than Money. As Owner decide on your Hourly Rate. Avoid any activity strictly which you think won't fetch you your Rate.
When you do tax Compliance you sell your TIME & day by day value u get will go down as softwares can do it faster and cheaper. When you do Consultancy, what you sell is your BRAINS & Experience & computers can't do it anytime soon so you get big premium
